Abstract
In this talk I will present the basic concepts regarding the Orbital
Angular Momentum of Photons. I will connect the OAM with the
optical vortices. Also I will show some of the properties of OAM
modes and vortices in classical optics. Then, I will show how these
concepts can be translated to quantum optics and some of their
applications in the quantum information field.
