Abstract

During the past couple of years, more and more properties of the electromagnetic field has been re-discovered or unravelled and utilised, chiefly in classical and quantum optics. Mainly, these progresses have been in connection to different angular momentum aspects of the EM-fields. This has in essence rendered the need to develop visualisation methods in order to better investigat and understand the physics behind these properties. In this presentation we will see how one can, by way of straightforward methods, visualise such properties as spin, angular momentum, spin-orbit angular momentum and other quantities of a radio beam.
