Status of the Radio Ice Cherenkov Experiment

Abstract
We summarize the status of the Radio Ice Cherenkov Experiment (RICE)
at the South Pole. Recent developments include the determination of
a new upper bound on ultrarelativistic magnetic monopole flux. This
limit from RICE is two orders of magnitude stronger than
previously-published bounds over a kinematic range spanning four
orders of magnitude in monopole boost parameter gamma. We also
discuss continuing efforts in data analysis and plans for a successor
radio experiment.
