Abstract
The proposal for a Nordic Data Grid Facility which is currently
underway, proposes an open Nordic compute-market. The consequences
of such an open compute market is hoped to include; better resource
utilization and diverse resources. In addition to providing more
and cheaper resources, NDGF also aims at easing; access to
resources, sharing of data and international collaborations,
including projects that go beyond the Nordic countries. The talk
will introduce the proposed model and demonstrate a few of the
solutions we plan to provide to the end users.
