Abstract
In 1996--2001 a set of in the on reception of the ground-based
SURA transmitter signals in the frequency range 4.5--9 MHz by the WIND
spacecraft was conducted. The aim of the experiments was to study the
peculiarities of HF-wave propagation through the near-Earth plasma
environment in various geophysical conditions. Some results of the
experiments are presented. Particularly, a quite often appearance of the
fast amplitude fluctuations of the received signal with time scale less
than of 1 sec were obtained when the spacecraft was located out in the
Earth magnetosphere. Scattering of the sounding signal on fast moving
interplanetary plasma clouds with sizes of 40--100 km seems to be the most
probable reason of the phenomenon. Parameters of the solar wind
turbulence spectrum near the inner scale of the inertial interval are
discussed on the base of results obtained.
